Type of Website – We design small business websites that are simple, effective and Search Engine Friendly. We also build information websites, such as our own photography and walking sites.
Designing websites that are Search Engine friendly means taking them into consideration from the very start of the design process.
Target marketplace, diversity of products, choice of domain name, proper choice and use of keywords in page text, are each given prime consideration. If any of these wrong you are compromising your chances of achieving good Search Engine placement.
In many cases more effective results can be achieved by using several small websites targeted to individual products / marketplace.
Format – We normally build websites in WordPress format but we can still build them in HTML format if required and can maintain and update HTML websites.
Content– Once the content has been developed using our Website Planner ©, we will commence work on designing and building the website in stages with your involvement and comment along the way. When it is complete to your satisfaction Search Engine listing will commence.
Domain Names – We can organize domain name purchases but generally advise clients to purchase their own direct from a reputable company. The advantages are that clients have direct control over their domain name. We are happy to guide you through the process of course and advise on reputable domain sellers.
Website Hosting – We can provide a managed website hosting service for clients. We do not provide hosting for websites designed by others and do not allow FTP or control panel access to the web servers we use.
Monitoring and maintenance – We strongly advise a regular maintenance and monitoring programme to keep your website content up-to-date and to maintain good Search Engine positioning. Websites that are built and then left alone reduce their chances of success due to the ever increasing number of competitor sites, changes to the way Search Engines work, etc.
